Jason Allen Carr
Hi! I’m Jason Allen Carr kids yoga instructor at Hollywood Market yoga and spa! How do you teach a child yoga? First and foremost at ALL times…. You Believe in Magic! You Observe, you Listen, Feel, Play, and Communicate ALL while holding a space of non judgement for others to evolve in their own space and time. You hold a space where you allow the child to express themselves even if it is outside of what most people would perceive yoga to be or what you may have prepared. We ALL have something to learn from one another, from a child to a parent or a child to its teacher. Mirrored reflections of one another. Sometimes a yoga class is a structured guided flow (don’t count on it). A yoga class may consist of just a conversation, meditation walk, where we connect with our environment/earth while showing gratitude! One step at a time! As an instructor I teach that there are infinite perceptions/ways of doing things and then allow the child to express that energy as they perceive it first, before offering up my perception or way of doing something! Reiterating that there is no right or wrong way to do anything. My favorite teaching of any kind (especially children) is Meditation. If you master one thing in this lifetime and it’s meditation there is absolutely nothing you can’t do! Truth!Seeing a child experience meditation in their stillness, with a slight movement at their third eye, the smiles from the recognition of colors and tingling on their finger tips and toes is absolutely priceless and is something a parent should experience/see!(How did I get to be so lucky) There is nothing more beautiful than a still child in meditation with a light smile on their face! Even more beautiful than that, is seeing the look on their faces after having just experienced the magic of their own energies and presence! Teaching New Earth ideas and ways of doing things as WE evolve and grow together! Namaste!

Maddie Graff
Maddie began her journey with yoga in 2012, as a 15 year old learning to be in control of her own mind and body. Yoga provided her with a "sport" throughout high school and college, and now as a mother it is her favorite "me time".
Maddie hopes to give other parents and guardians the opportunity to care for themselves, while their youngsters have FUN. As a previous nanny, Montessori substitute teacher and current tutor,
Maddie's true passion is guiding growing minds. She understands that each and every child is on their own learning journey, and her job is to simply encourage them to take in the beauty of their surroundings, breathe through their emotions, big or small, and simply be!
