New to the studio? Check us out!
2 WEEKS • UNLIMITED YOGA $55

  • New To Yoga CAN BEGINNERS ATTEND?

Yes! Hollywood Market Yoga is a supportive environment in which all levels and abilities can practice yoga. We encourage beginners to pace themselves in class and hope they can commit to 3 – 4 classes per week for the first month. This will help your body acclimate to the heat as well as experience the benefits of a committed yoga practice. Our Yin, Hot 26 and Hot Hour are great introductory classes for beginners!

  • Benefits of Yoga

Infrared heating in our studio offers many benefits to a yoga practice such as improved flexibility, circulation, oxygenation of organs and detoxification. The heat warms the muscles and joints so that students may safely enter postures deeply and effectively with minimal risk of injury. Our yoga focuses on deep breathing techniques known for improving conditions like asthma and creating deep relaxation and mental clarity.

How to Prepare:

• Please arrive at 10-15 minutes before class even if you have registered online. Doors open approximately 15 minutes before class. If you are not here 5 min. before class you risk losing your spot to a waitlisted student.

• Wear whatever you feel comfortable sweating in!

• Avoid eating a heavy meal 2-3 hours before class begins.

• Arrive hydrated!

• A yoga mat, towel, and water are required for class. Mat and towel rental are $2.00 each. Water can be purchased for $4.00

Accomodations:

We have locker rooms for men and women with restrooms, a shower, cubbies and hooks to leave your belongings. Filtered refillable water station. Late spring through mid-fall we have two outdoor showers available. New students please arrive a few minutes early for your first class and we will give you complete tour.

“Happiness Is Spoken Here”

YOGA ETIQUETTE

No shoes and no talking in the room, this is our sacred space.

• Be on time and don’t leave early unless you’ve spoken with the instructor ahead of time.

• Respect the teacher and fellow students by not doing any distracting movements, do your best to listen and move mindfully, especially if you are in the front row as the front row is expected to be examples in the class.

• No smells, good or bad. Students are welcome to use our showers before and after class. You’ll thank us during our deep breathing exercises.

• Observe silence during Savasana. If you must (really must!) leave before the end, leave before people settle into Savasana and be as quiet as a mouse!
