From Memorization to Mastery

True movement authority is built on conversational knowledge. Anyone can guide a class through a high-energy sequence, but exceptional instruction happens when you can look at a body in motion, understand the kinetic patterns at play, and offer precise, functional guidance that is both specific and universal. True anatomical knowledge is felt, not heard. It is an implicit layer of mastery that drives a sequencing coherence your students won't explicitly see, but will experience physically.

Led by Christine Mock, e-RYT 500 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, this 30-hour hybrid intensive is engineered specifically for yoga, hot Pilates, and sculpt teachers who want to elevate their structural intelligence. I am not here to teach you what to think, but rather how to think about movement. You will learn to navigate common alignment myths and build an adaptable framework—a responsive lens that holds up over time because it is directly informed by the bodies in front of you. You will graduate with the structural confidence to evaluate any shape, and a permanent digital asset library to support your teaching career.

Core Curriculum Competencies

This immersion bridges technical education with active movement labs, translating complex biomechanics into practical, floor-ready tools.

● Conversational Fluency: Translate complex bio-mechanical concepts into clear, highly effective cues that register instantly in a student's nervous system.

● The High-Velocity Eye: Train your vision to observe real-time structural transitions and alignment shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced class environment.

● Anatomical Critical Thinking: Understand joint mechanics deeply so you can confidently evaluate any sequence, modify any movement, and adapt to individual structural needs.

● Real-Time Intervention: Learn to distinguish between structural limitations and habitual movement patterns, allowing you to maximize client safety while maintaining the momentum of your class.

Weekend Training Schedule

Phase 1: Pre-Weekend Preparation

● On-Demand Foundational Module (4 Hours) | Foundations of Anatomy and Biomechanics Portal opens 2 to 4 weeks prior to the live immersion. Modules must be completed by 11/12, with lifetime access. Complete the initial online video modules covering skeletal landmarks, planes of motion, major muscle groups, and structural terminology via your digital dashboard before we meet in person.

Phase 2: In-Studio Intensive

● Friday, Nov 13 (4:00 – 8:00 pm) | Ground-Up Mechanics & Pelvic Stability Take 4:00pm Vinyasa class to set your experiential baseline under heat, followed by our first technical lecture unpacking pelvic architecture.

● Saturday, Nov 14 (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) | Advanced Hip Function & Spine Transition Take 8:00am Vinyasa class, followed by interactive clinics mapping joint compression, a 45-minute lunch break, technical lectures, and 1-on-1 partner practice teaching.

● Sunday, Nov 15 (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) | Mastering the Spine, Core & Upper Body Take 8:00am Vinyasa class, followed by spinal loading labs, a 45-minute lunch break, upper-body tactile clinics, and our final un-scripted peer teaching practicum.

Phase 3: The Public Teaching Practical & Portal

● Live Community Class Practicum & Mentorship (1.5 Hours) To be completed November 16 through December 12. Schedule and teach one full-length community class on the active Hollywood Market Yoga calendar targeting your choice of the spine, pelvis, or shoulder region with a 30-minute private mentoring session to follow.

● On-Demand Integration Modules (4 Hours) Available November 16, must be completed by December 13th, with lifetime access. A self-paced online video library to complete by December 13th.

Phase 4: Final Graduation & Q&A Session

● Sunday, Dec 13 (9:30-Noon) | Advanced Integration, Q&A, & Certifi cation Return to the studio for our fi nal 2.5-hour live module and graduation. Take the 9:30am Vinyasa class
