FIRST CLASS FREE

Join our music and yoga class for moms and toddlers, ages 2-4, starting in March, led by Dr. Taylor Vulgamore (DMA) mother, classically trained musician, and certified yoga instructor.

In every class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where you and your child will experience varying styles of music and movement. Your children will interact with other children and engage in singing, playing instruments, dancing, and yoga.

Along with music and movement, this class is an opportunity for children to express their own ideas and explore their creativity.

Taylor Vulgamore, DMA is a classically trained musician and music theorist with a Doctor of Musical Arts in Oboe Performance and Literature and a cognate in Music Theory. Her research focused on intonation, tuning systems, and microtonal music, and she researches the perception of sound and how sound impacts the body and the nervous system. She has performed with orchestras across the country, including the Boise Philharmonic.

As a yoga instructor, trained here at Hollywood Market, Taylor teaches from the belief that yoga exists to bring us home to ourselves, release the “should” of life, and fall into a place of acceptance. She honors the depth and tradition of the practice, while acknowledging the new complexities of modern life which have manifested as a new advancements of the asana practice. Taylor invites students to experience their yoga practice not as performative, but as a gratitude practice of the body, mind, and soul. Her classes cultivate strength and endurance of mind and body, awareness, and self-trust, always rooted in gratitude and presence.

As a sound healer, Taylor integrates her deep understanding of frequency, overtones, and nervous system regulation. She believes sound is one of our oldest medicines, as well as the medicine of the future.

As a mother, Taylor sees that children intuitively understand music and sound before language. In her kids yoga and music classes, rhythm, breath, and movement come together to support regulation, creativity, joy, and community. She brings a rare blend of experience, curiosity, and reverence for resonance into her work with children and families.
